Our tea factories and gardens provide employment to more than 6000 people and have improved the quality of life of entire villages situated in the proximity of Kabarole district. Technological progress is being furthered by resorting to international planting and processing techniques. |

| We hereby present names of our tea gardens with their meanings in the local Rutooro dialect: - 1. Buzira Sagama - Bloodless spot … A place where clan wars never took place. 2. Hiima - A dense thickly vegetated area. 3. Ijuga - A place were there are many cows. 4. Kagorogoto - A place were wild animals roamed. 5. Kigoyera - A place where people used to feast and have traditional ceremonies. 6. Kigumba - Land once occupied by the members of the Abagumba clan. 7. Kihingami - A place once occupied by the noble class of the Batoro people. 8. Kinyantale - Land were lions roam. 9. Kirima - A place were people tilled the land for food. 10. Kitumba - Promised land or spiritual land. 11. Kyakazini - Land once occupied by Kazini clan. 12. Kyamazima - Land of truth. 13. Kyarusozi - A land of many hills. 14. Mujuga - Place of cattle and cattle herders. 15. Mukunyu - A place were the ancient Mukunyu tree flourish. 16. Munobwa - A place of many clan battles. 17. Nyambia - Place of harmony. 18. Nyamigera - A place of a swift white river. 19. Rwetera - Peaceful place … A place where there were no battles. 20. Sebitoli - A land once occupied by the Sebitoli clan. |

The Head Office in Kampala has a state of the art packaging plant that caters to the Ugandan market as well as exports. Its packaging includes 5gm, 10gm, 25gm, 50gm, 100gm, 250gm & 500gm packing in laminates, pouches, sachets, metal containers, plastic containers, etc. The tea bag section comprises of three state of the art machines that makes both round & square tea bags. These machines can produce 2000 tea bags per hour. Rwenzori Commodities deals with a lot of International Companies and packs according to their requirements. Some of the product includes flavoured teas like Lemon, Orange, Chamomile, Earl Grey, Raspberry, etc. All these make our products very well known in the International market. |
